Free Chlorine Burn Notification

The North Texas Municipal Water District will be performing a 28-day Chlorine Maintenance of its water transmission systems and customers' distribution systems starting March 13, 2017 through April 10, 2017.

New Gallon Water Tower

On Saturday, February 20, 2016, Talty SUD raised the new 1 million gallon water tower on CR212. This new water tower will serve the Gateway development as well as future needs of the Talty service area.

NTWMD Chlorine Maintenance

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has completed its Sanitary Survey of Talty Special Utility District on Tuesday, May 19th. Talty received an excellent inspection with no violations or warnings.

Talty SUD Board of Directors has adopted NEW Landscape Irrigation ordinances effective January 1, 2009. The new ordinances require an installer of an irrigation system to be licensed by the commision (TCEQ) and obtain a permit from the Talty SUD office before the installation of the irrigation system and get the required inspections.

Talty SUD receives Superior Rating from the State of Texas.

Backflow Testing
Talty SUD requires annual testing of all backflow assemblies from September to November.

Disconnection Policy Change
During the July 20th Regular Monthly Board Meeting, the Board of Directors voted to change the Disconnect/Reconnect policy. This change is in alignment with the City of Forney's policy. Effective 10/1/2015, on the morning of the Disconnect date which will be listed on the Disconnect notice, a $50 Administrative Fee will be added to your account if payment has not been received. This fee will be applied to your account even if service has not yet been disconnected. In order to have service restored, the past due balance, Administration Fee and the current balance must be paid IN FULL.
